This yard was beginning to look tired and boring. It was nothing special and lacked any eye catching appeal. By beefing up the front and adding cheerful colors to the front yard bed, we brought life back into this yard. We introduced a personal touch in the back yard with Hydrangeas, the flower from their wedding; azaleas, a memory from the wife’s grandmother’s house; and Butterfly Bushes with a Lady Banks rose to match the family’s fun-loving personality. We also planted three tea olives along the back of the house for the couple to enjoy while watching their little one play. The small stone patio at the bottom of the stairs off the deck with the stone steps leading down the hill into the grassy area tie in the stone borders and add to the natural feel that the couple wanted. This was a fun project which had its challenges but came together beautifully in the end.
