This woodland backyard was overgrown and on its way out. We came in and revitalized it by taking out the old and bringing in the new. Hostas, ferns and azaleas bring in the surrounding area close to the house while the viburnum and the variegated ginger plant refine it slightly, just enough to set the space apart. The stone patio anchors the side yard and gives it a personality all of its own while still maintaining the continuity of the rest of the yard.
