This Children’s Sensory Garden is full of safe discovery for children of all ages, even grown ones. It is full of herbs to be smelled, tasted and touched, as well as a small vegetable garden and visually stimulating flowers. Everything in this space is nonpoisonous and safe. The garden even brings in fun wildlife for observation. There is also a large turtle sandbox for imagination and play in the midst of the garden. The sensory continues even into the adult space with creeping thyme which is wonderfully fragrant when stepped on. The children love playing in their space and sharing garden “treats” with their friends.
