The light blue house gave a great backdrop for the fun, colorful, landscape of color. We added yellows, reds and light greens to contrast with the house color and dark purples to enhance the depth. They have a great wooded area on the right side of the property. By adding splashes of seasonal color with flowering native shrubs amongst the trees, we were able to bring the color off the house and intothe rest of the property. We also took up a narrow strip of grass that grew on the right side of the path and let the mulch absorb that path. This allowed a more finished look to the front yard and helped to blend the natural with the tame.
